One Year Pictures

Here are Jackson's one year photos. They let us bring in a cake for him to eat.....again, it is confirmed that Jackson has a sweet tooth! He had a great time at his photo shoot!

One Year Later....

We cannot believe our little baby boy is now one year old! He is such a blessing and has changed our lives completely. This past year has been so much fun. Waking up to his smiling face every day is the best feeling in the world! We love him so much and couldn't be any prouder!! It has been amazing watching him discover things for the first time. In one short year, he has learned so much and we are so excited for the future!!
Jackson had a great first birthday! He tasted cake for the first time and I think it's safe to say that he has a bit of a sugar tooth!

Santa Claus

Jackson has had a few encounters with Santa Claus and is not quite sure what to think. His first meeting went pretty well. He didn't cry but he didn't smile either. A week later, Jackson went with his cousins to see Santa Claus and it was not fun. The minute he saw Santa, he burst into tears and screamed....oh, did he scream! He held on to mommy so tight that I think I had claw marks on me!

Jackson's first Halloween!

Jackson had such a fun first Halloween! Nana and Jackson carved their first pumpkin together. Jackson wasn't quite sure what to think of this round orange pumpkin but I think he liked it.

Nana, Jackson and I met Kim and Tanner at the Pumpkin Patch. The boys rode ponys, played in the hay, and took a ride on a "tractor trailer". They had a blast and mommy took LOTS of pictures!

I took Jackson out trick or treating on Halloween night. He was the cutest little monkey I've ever seen!! We met up with some friends and walked around the neighborhood. It was a great time and a Halloween I will never forget.

Tulsa Zoo

Jackson went to the Tulsa Zoo today with me, Kim, and Tanner. He had a great time!! He especially liked the petting zoo, the monkeys, the train, and the carasoul. After a full day at the zoo, both boys were pooped!

9 Months!

Time is just flying by! Jackson turned nine months old on September 26th. He has learned so many new things in the past few months ~ waving bye-bye, clapping, and even climbing stairs! We can only imagine what joy the next nine months will bring!!

At his nine month appointment, he weighed 22 lbs (74%) and was 29.5 inches long (90%). He didn't have to have any scheduled immunizations this time, but he did have a flu shot ~ which he was not too happy about.

We love Jackson so much and are having so much fun watching him grow and discover new things!

Goodbye Ear Infections!

Today was a long day for little Jackson. After battling several recurring ear infections, we decided to get tubes placed in Jackson's ears. The surgical procedure for placing tubes in the ears is very common...but we still worried (of course)! Jackson was so brave and he did great! He was a little bit scared when he woke up, but once we arrived home he was happy again! I'm so proud of him!!

6 Months Old!

We cannot believe that our little baby boy is already 6 months old! At his checkup, he was 27.5 inches long (90%) and 18lbs 10 ounces (74%). He had another round of shots, which he did not like very much. He is also battling a constant ear infection...we are hoping this new antibiotic will do the trick.

We were able to spend a week in Texas in late June. We had so much fun visiting friends and family and Jackson had a blast! He is getting very very close to crawling.....yikes!
