6 Months Old!

We cannot believe that our little baby boy is already 6 months old! At his checkup, he was 27.5 inches long (90%) and 18lbs 10 ounces (74%). He had another round of shots, which he did not like very much. He is also battling a constant ear infection...we are hoping this new antibiotic will do the trick.

We were able to spend a week in Texas in late June. We had so much fun visiting friends and family and Jackson had a blast! He is getting very very close to crawling.....yikes!

Happy Birthday Bella!

Today is Bella's 9th birthday. By looking at her, you would still think she was just a puppy. She has been my baby for 9 years and is just the best dog we could ever ask for! Happy Birthday Bella!

5 Months Old!

Jackson turned 5 months old on May 26th. He is getting so big and he is learning to do new things every day! What a joy he is!!!

Eating Rice Cereal for the First Time

News!

A lot has happened in the last two weeks. After being back at work for a week, Greg and I decided that I would resign from my job and stay home. Today was my last day at work and although, I will miss everyone I work with, I know this is the right decision for us and I couldn’t be happier to spend all of my days with little Jackson.

A Hard Week....

This week was an eventful week for us all. Jackson turned three months old on March 26th! He has changed our lives so much and we thank God every day for him. His little toothless smile is what I look forward to every morning!

Unfortunately, mommy had to return to work this week. I have spent every day with Jackson for the last three months and leaving him at daycare is one of the hardest things I've ever done. Obviously, it is a lot harder on me than it is on Jackson. He is at a daycare that has an endless amount of toys and things to do. I know he will be fine but the thought of not being with him every day still makes me sad....he is such a joy to spend my days with. Everyone keeps telling me it will get easier...so stay tuned.

We took Jackson to get his three month pictures done this weekend. He did a great job and spent the whole session flirting with the photographer! As you can see in the pictures, he is ALL smiles!!

Two Month Appointment

Can you believe Jackson is two months old? Time is flying by. He had a great report today at the Doctor. He weighs 13.45 lbs (89%) and is 23.5 inches (75%) in length. They also gave him his first set of shots....which he did not like at all. However, I think it may have upset me more than it did him. He is a brave little guy!

Jackson's Baptism

Jackson was baptized on February 10th. He wore his Gamma Julie's grandfather's baptismal gown.

His Godparents are Kim Reed and Greg Speilmann. It was a beautiful day!
